Kira and James met through mutual friends and the 'gram like any modern day couple. After an epic first date in NYC and a great second date in DC, they started dating. Kira knew it was special after James bought tickets for them to see Kira’s favorite ballet, The Nutcracker, and after meeting Joey, the beloved German Shepard mix she never looked back. Even as James lived in Beaumont, TX and Kira in Brooklyn, the distance made their hearts grow fonder. They loved traveling and having fun together and brought each other a new sense of adventure and stability. 2020 gave them the opportunity to spend more time together, investing in their little family with Joey and starting a new chapter together in Chicago. James surprised Kira in Maui with a beautiful proposal and they cannot wait to celebrate their marriage in Italy with their closest loved ones.
